Hemorrhoids first hit me when I was 34 years old.

At the time, I did not know what was happening.  I knew nothing about hemorrhoids so the conditions that I was experiencing were foreign to me.  I knew one thing:  I was hurting down there and I did not know where to turn. 

Before I permanently cured my hemorrhoids, I did not know what to do:

At first, I thought whatever problem that I was having would just disappear.  I lead a fairly active lifesyle playing golf on most weekends and getting to the gym once or twice a week.  I eat fairly healthy during the week, but I also like to go out and have a good time on the weekends.  Occasionally, during or after my activities, I would experience a little bit of chafing around the groin area.   This condition would usually subside after a day or two.

 And so, when I first had the pain around my rectal area, I thought it must be some variation of this chafing…and I waited for it to subside.  But it didn’t; the pain increased each day. 

 ”What was going on with me?” I wondered.  And seriously, how am I able to talk to anybody about this?  I am just not accustomed to talking about problems in that area.  Is anybody?

Well, the pain persisted and, as I mentioned, it increased dramatically.  Going to the bathroom (#2) was the most painful experience I had endured.  And the wiping process?  What could be as painful as this?  I have broken my arm and I don’t recall the pain being so excruciating. 

After 4 days, I broke down and, with great embarrassment, called my mom and dad.  I described my symptoms.  What happened?

My dad laughed.  Yep, he laughed.  It was a consoling laugh, one of  shared experiences.  Before I had uttered two sentences, my dad immediately said, “Son, I hate to break this to you but you have hemorrhoids just like your old man.”  It was similar to his reaction when I got acne as a 12-year old.  His laughter was not condescending but more an I am sorry, Son type of laughter.  Apparently, hemorrhoids, like acne, can be hereditary.  Thanks dad.

I read all the information that I could about hemorrhoids and, especially, the cure for hemorrhoids.  Like most people, I followed what I now call the band-aid solution to hemorrhoids.  I bought Preparation H (it was as embarrassing as buying my first condoms) and took lots of warm baths.  After 10 days, lots of baths, lots of Preparation H, and very painful bathroom experiences, I was “cured”. 

Luckily, after you have experienced hemorrhoids for the first time, you know it when it is happening and can catch it a little earlier.    However, it is still extremely painful and embarrassing.

The second time I experienced hemorrhoids I was in the middle of a trip to South America.  I could feel them coming and wanted to do everything I could to prevent them.  How do you say Preparation H in Spanish?  And, where I was, there were no baths, only bidets (which are very good for hemorrhoids by the way).   Well, that hemorrhoids attack left me stranded for 5 days in a South American hotel not able to enjoy a trip that I paid a lot of money for.

I resolved to do something about this when I returned home.  Clearly, these hemorrhoids would keep returning at unexpected moments and I did not want that in my life. 

I began researching all that I could about hemorrhoids when I returned to the states.  I devoured all the information that the Internet could provide.  What could I do different?  Was there any way to get rid of Hemorrhoids forever? 

I read about the hereditary aspects of Hemorrhoids, the proper diet that might offset the onset of hemorrhoids, and proper hygienic behaviors for hemorrhoids.  I gathered a lot of good information, but it might as well have been a box of more band-aids.  Each of the solutions I found was just another band-aid, promising to delay the next onset of hemorrhoids but providing no real cure.

How I Permanently Cured My Hemorrhoids

At about the time I was beginning to think that there was no permanent cure for hemorrhoids, I came across Holly Hayden’s Natural Cure for Hemorrhoids.  I am sometimes skeptical of “natural cures” because they seem so holistic, mystical, and offered by strange people.  However, Holly’s program was logical and I liked the natural approach.  What did I have to lose?  The program offered my money back if it did not work.

With this in mind, I ordered Holly’s program, called the H-Miracle.  I first received a free booklet entitled “Alternative Digestive Remedies”.  It’s amazing what the medical community fails to share with us.  But, when you think about it, Preparation H does not want you to have this information because they would not be able to sell their product anymore. 

Miracle is a big, lofty word.  I would not use it liberally.  However, when you have suffered the pain of hemorrhoids, any thing that cures it is a miracle.  Since ordering the program, I have not had a hemorrhoids flare-up once. 

My last battle with hemorrhoids took place in South America at the age of 36.  I am 40 now and have traveled to Asia and Australia…and enjoyed the entire vacation.

When the famous baseball player George Brett finally ridded himself of hemorrhoids, he famously quoted to the press:  “All of my problems are behind me.”

Thankfully (knock on wood), I can now say the same thing thanks to the Natural Cure for Hemorrhoids.
